Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The Palestinian NGOs Netowrk organized a stand today in front of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OCHA) in the West Bank city of Ramallah, to demand an end to the Israeli war of genocide that has been ongoing for more than ten months in Gaza Strip.
Wafa News Agency reported that the participants called for an end to the attacks on humanitarian workers and relief teams in Gaza, and for the entry of humanitarian aid.
They denounced the silence of the international community regarding the ongoing aggression, and considered it as participation in the complex crime being committed by the occupation forces, with all that includes killing, starvation, thirst, displacement, impoverishment, and the spread of diseases.
The participants handed the UN office a memorandum to deliver to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, which included a call on the organization and its institutions to intensify efforts to compel Israel to immediately stop its criminal war, withdraw from all areas it occupies in the Strip, and enter relief and humanitarian aid.
The memorandum called for obligating the occupation to stop targeting local and international humanitarian service crews, and to allow UN committees and international officials to enter the Strip to assess the tragic humanitarian conditions and document the occupation’s crimes.
The NGO Network indicated that its relief, humanitarian and service work in all fields will continue despite the occupation’s targeting of its headquarters and workers, which has led to the martyrdom of more than 300 workers in international and humanitarian institutions, and hundreds of medical and civil defense crew members.
