Soleimani’s assassination represents state terrorism and a violation of international law, say Czech and Slovak officials
Prague,(ST) – Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Committee of the Czech Parliament, Yerji Kupza, confirmed that the assassination committed by the United States of General Qassem Soleimanithe leader of al-Quds Failaq in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard , the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization units in Iraq and his companions represents a “heinous crime” and “a violation of international law.”
“A very dangerous situation has occured after this American crime and there will be grave repercussions for the world,” Kupza said in an interview with the Czech Parliamentary Papers site, calling for the withdrawal of Czech soldiers who participate in the NATO training mission in Iraq.
A member of the Central Council of the Czech security, responsibility, and solidarity) movement, Adislav Petrach, stressed that the crime committed by the United States represents “state terrorism”, noting that this process is taking place within the framework of a sabotage policy practiced by the United States in the Middle East and within the framework of Ongoing preparations for the presidential election.
In Bratislava, Robert Fetsu, the former Slovakian head of government, the current head of the ruling Social Democratic Party Samir, the strongest party in the ruling coalition, emphasized that the United States of America “violated international law” with the crime of assassination.
Fetsu warned of the catastrophic consequences of such an action, which he described as a “coming from the “wild West”.
