The Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Raqqa in cooperation with the “Al-Bir and Al-Ihsan” Charity on Monday distributed the first batch of clothes as an aid to the most needy families in the liberated eastern countryside of Raqqa.
Director of the Social Affairs Amad Al-Murshed told SANA that this initiative comes within the social support activities during the holy month of Ramadan, pointing out that these activities will continue throughout the month of Ramadan to reach all the areas of the liberated countryside.
On his part, Huzeifa Al-Matar, from the Charity, said that 900 persons of all age categories benefited from the aid the distribution of which started in the villages of Al-Jaber and Al-Nameesa and will cover the entire eastern countryside of Raqqa in a later stage.
Meantime, the “Souria Al-Yamama” Charity also distributed food baskets to the most needy families in several villages in Raqqa eastern countryside.
