Soccer: Syria to take on Lebanon Friday

DAMASCUS,(ST)_The men’s national soccer team is  due to go head-to-head with its  Lebanese counterpart in a friendly on Friday(September,6)at the national stadium in Beirut.

The match is part of the national team’s preparation for its third match in the 2015 Asia Cup qualifiers where  Australia will host the finals.

It is to be noted that Syria has been grouped with Oman which currently tops Group A with six points .Followed by the Jordanian team with four points while our team is in third place with only one point ahead of Singapore which have no points.
