Slutsky: The Zionist aggression on Syria is an unacceptable crime

Moscow (ST) –Head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia State Duma faction and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky strongly condemned the Israeli terrorist aggression that targeted areas around Masyaf, considering it an absolutely unacceptable crime that targets innocent civilians.

Slutsky said in an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow today: “Israel is an aggressive entity, like the United States, as it killed thousands of children, women and elderly people in Gaza with Washington’s support,” stressing Russia’s support for the Syrian people in the face of the conspiracies and attacks they are exposed to.

“The world has become convinced of the falsity of exporting the so-called American democracy, because this democracy does not exist, and this is what we see today in the course of the election campaign in the United States and we have seen it before in all the American presidential elections, and it is also confirmed by the facts of life in America”, Slutsky added.

Slutsky pointed out that most countries now reject unipolarity and seek to establish a multipolar world based on just foundations in which every country and people enjoys the right to determine its own destiny and to become, based on its history, culture and language, an independent pole for making decisions in the world in which we live and not through Washington’s orders.
