Slovak website: The Syrians are true heirs of countless civilizations

Syria is the cradle of human civilizations and the place where all old empires passed through since their emergence from the darkness of history, a photo report prepared by the Slovak writer Tomas Kubus has reaffirmed, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The report, which was published on Saturday by the Slovak “Beriak website”, included 9 color photos for Damascus and Palmyra. It stressed that “the Syrians are the true heirs of countless civilizations that passed through their lands. That is why Syria has always been the most tolerant country in the region”.

The report pointed out that every civilization and empire that passed through Syria left different relics and traces in it, noting that the first Alphabet in history was created in Syria’s Ugarit.

The report talked about the emergence of the first works of glass and porcelain industry in Syria and about the ancient temples and the archeological cities, stressing that many civilizations flourished in Syria.
