Slovak website: Damascus is a destination for tourists looking for beauty and history

The Slovak Zoznam website confirmed that the Syrian capital, Damascus, was and still is a destination for tourists looking for the beauty of places as well as fragrant history.

The website added in a report prepared by David and Lenka Haring after their visit to Syria, which included colorful pictures of Damascus’s landmarks: “The atmosphere that prevails in this city is amazing .It  captivates every tourist and visitor,” pointing to its richness in antiquities dating back to various historical eras since the beginning of its founding thousands of years ago.

The report highlighted that “the influences of the various historical eras interact with each other in a harmonious way until now, which makes everyone who walks around it feel that he is in an ancient city that operates normally in our current era, while life around is still buzzing with different colors and energies.”

The report considered that Damascus has been very popular since the Middle Ages, due to its handicraft products and its geographical location, which is a link between Africa and Asia.
