Slovak Socialist Party: The Palestinian people have the right to defend themselves

The Slovak Socialist  Party has affirmed that the Palestinian people are subjected to occupation, displacement, killing  and racial discrimination,  therefore they have the right to defend themselves against the occupation.

“The Israeli occupation supported  financially  and militarily by  the United States, is carrying out acts of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians” The party indicated in a statement on Thursday.

The statement called  for the protection of civilians according to  the relevant Geneva Conventions. The party stressed that the only way to stop the bloodshed in the Middle East is to find a just, peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue.
