Slovak Politician: Governments of the EU countries are obedient servants of the U.S.

Former Prime Minister of Slovakia Jan Carnogursky has called for lifting the sanctions imposed by the western countries on Russia, saying that these sanctions indicate the stupidity of the governments of the European Union countries that supported these measures.

In a recent article, Carnogursky stated that the governments of the EU countries have proved during the Ukrainian crisis that they are obedient servants of the United States, therefore, and under direct US pressure; they imposed sanctions on Russia, which greatly affected them.

He pointed out that the policy of the EU countries’ officials is wrong, because the world won’t join their sanctions on Russia, on the contrary economic and trade cooperation between Russia and other countries of the world including China, India, Pakistan and others, has increased, particularly in securing strategic materials.

“Due to the stupid policy of the EU, some EU countries, including Slovakia is buying energy at high prices, which affected all walks of life in the country,” Carnogursky clarified, stressing that the way out of this situation is simple and is represented in lifting all the sanctions imposed on Russia, thereby, opening the way for talks with Moscow on lifting its counter-sanctions measures against the countries of the EU.
