Slovak political analyst calls for lifting unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria

Bratislava, ST- Slovakian political analyst Branislav Fabri called on the European Union countries to lift unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria and to admit that their policy towards it has failed.

Fabri stressed in an article published in the Slovak newspaper Novi Slovo, that the continuation of the European Union in imposing coercive measures on Syria will exclude them   from any contribution in Syria’s reconstruction process or in finding a political solution to the crisis in it.

He added that it is in Europe’s interest to cooperate with Syria, calling on European countries to seek the return of the international law system to the Middle East.

Fabri also pointed out that some Western countries do not have any positive strategy in finding solutions to crises in Syria or other countries in the Middle East, stressing that the policy of ignoring reality is not sustainable for a long time.
