BRATISLAVA, (ST)-Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico has criticized some European countries’ claims that they don’t know how to solve the crisis in Syria while, at the same time, they keep supporting terrorist takfiri organizations there.
In a statement to a Slovak economic channel on Monday, Fico said that the European countries knew the solution of the crisis in Syria but they didn’t seek it, “because some European states are directly supporting terrorism and chaos in Syria.”
The Slovak official reiterated that “it is not possible to resolve the crisis in Syria without Russia as it was not possible to settle the Iranian nuclear file without it.”
On Sunday, the Czech Prime Minster Bohuslav Sobotka asserted that settlement in Syria necessitates the defeat of ISIL terrorist organization besides a sort of agreement between Russia and the United States.
He affirmed that the only solution to the refugee crisis can be attained by halting conflicts and helping people have another option other than immigration.
