Slovak parliamentarian: Syria’s participation in the Arab League meetings is a positive sign for the Middle East

Prague (ST): Dr. Lubosz Blaha, a member of the Slovak parliament and vice-president of the Social Democratic Samir Party, affirmed that Syria’s participation in the meetings of the League of Arab States represents a positive sign for the entire Middle East.

Blaha said in a statement to a news correspondent in Prague today: This participation represents a victory over the ideological hatred that some Western powers are trying to sow in the region, stressing that peaceful regional cooperation can only bring stability and prosperity.

Blaha pointed out that the politics of conflicts and wars do not lead to any result and that the future belongs to cooperation and diplomacy to achieve development and progress.
