Sixth Aircraft of WFP Aids Arrived in Hassaka

HASAKA,(ST)_ Director of the World Food Program office in Qamishli city Afraa Noah announced today the arrival of the sixth plane of the fourth air bridge, carrying food assistance for families evacuated to Hasakah province.

In a statement to SANA ‘s correspondent Noah added that the third airlift carried carry in 20 aircraft 912 tons of assorted food aid to be distributed on families coming to the province, pointing out that an integrated plan was developed with the Syrian Red Crescent branch, NGOs and the Relief Committee start aid distribution.

Noah pointed out that the delivered quantities, ” are not enough to meet the needs of coming displaced ” and that the WFP office is working hard to increase the amounts allocated to Hasaka province.
