Six weak tremors monitored over the past 24 hours: National Earthquake Center

The National Earthquake Center on Saturday announced that six weak tremors were recorded during the past 24 hours with their intensity ranging between magnitude 1.6 and 3.6.

In a statement, the center said that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network, during the past 24 hours, recorded 4 earthquakes in Turkey, two northeast of Adana city at magnitudes of 3.5 and 2.5, one tremor 201km northwest of Raqqa at a magnitude of 2.8 and one tremor 242km north of Aleppo at a magnitude of 2.5.

According to the center, an earthquake was monitored in the Lebanese coast, 51 km southwest of Tartous city at a magnitude of 1.6 and a tremor in Liwa Iskenderun, 84km east of Adana at a magnitude of 1.8.
