DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- Six militants affiliated to the US-backed Kurdish militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have been killed and several others have been wounded in separate attacks on their positions in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Raqqa.
An explosive device blew up in a military car affiliated to SDF militia along the Haql al-Omar road, to the east of Deir Ezzor, killing two militants, SANA reporter said on Saturday, citing local sources.
The blast of another explosive device in the vicinity of al-Sabha town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor caused several injuries within the ranks of SDF militants.
In Raqqa countryside, local sources said that two SDF gunmen were killed after unidentified persons opened fire at them in al-Dar’eyeh neighborhood in the western outskirts of Raqqa city.
A military car affiliated to SDF militia was also targeted near the Sugar Factory, to the north of the city, claiming the lives of two SDF militants and injuring scores others.
Yesterday, two SDF militants were killed in an attack on one of their points in Ain Issa area in the far northern countryside of Raqqa.
Attacks on the positions of the US and Turkish-backed mercenaries in the Syrian al-Jazira region have recently escalated, killing many militants, wounding many others and causing destruction to their vehicles.
