Six US-backed SDF militants killed in attacks on their points in Hasaka and Deir Ezzor countryside

Six militants affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia were killed and several others were wounded in separate attacks on their positions in the countryside of Hasaka and Deir Ezzor during the last 24 hours.

According to local sources, an unidentified person threw a bomb at a patrol for the SDF militia after he gunned down an SDF militant inside the third section of Al-Hawl Camp in Hasaka Eastern countryside. The bomb attack resulted in injuring members of the patrol, including their leader.

The sources also said that unidentified persons attacked SDF militants in the fourth section of Al-Hawl Camp, killing an SDF leader. The militia brought in military reinforcements and stormed the third and fourth sections of the camp.

 Two SDF militants were also killed and four others were wounded when unidentified persons opened their gunfire on them in the vicinity of Al-Hawl camp.

Meantime in Deir Ezzor, local sources said that unidentified persons attacked a group of SDF militants in Daman village, to the north of Deir Ezzor, killing at least one of them. Another militant was shot dead by unidentified persons at the junction of the industrial city in Deir Ezzor northern countryside.

On Friday, unidentified persons targeted the SDF vehicles and checkpoints in Hasaka and Deir Ezzor countryside, killing three militants and wounding several others.
