Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Six Palestinian captives have continued their hunger strike, in rejection of the Israeli occupation’s continuous crimes against the detainees.
Wafa News Agency quoted the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs as saying on Wednesday in a statement: The hunger striking detainees are Saif Hamdan, Saleh Rabaya, Qusay Khader and Osama Khalil, who have been on strike for 11 days, and Sultan Khalouf and Kayed Al-Fasfus, who have been on strike for 7 days.
The Commission stated that more prisoners will join the hunger strike tomorrow, and the numbers will gradually double over the coming days, as part of an escalating protest program in rejection of the ongoing violations against them.
The Commission called on the International Committee of the Red Cross and human rights and humanitarian institutions to take immediate action and carry out their humanitarian and moral duties by putting an end to the occupation’s crimes, which constitute a flagrant violation of all international norms and coventions.
