Six civilians killed, 10 injured in terrorist attacks in several provinces

Provinces – Six civilians were killed and 10 others injured in terrorists’ attacks against different areas and provinces in the country on Thursday, SANA reported.

Hasaka

4 civilians killed, 8 injured in a terrorist explosion in Hasaka

 Four civilians were killed after terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) blew up an explosive-rigged tanker in al-Atshana village in Hasaka eastern countryside.

The attack took place late Wednesday and claimed the lives of 4 civilians, three of them women, and left 8 others, including children, injured.

Earlier on Tuesday, 7 civilians were injured after terrorists blew up a car bomb on al-Salalaba-al-Hasaka road.

Meanwhile, an army unit, backed by national forces, detonated Thursday morning a booby-trapped car of ISIS terrorists on Hasaka-al-Houl road in the eastern countryside of northeastern province.

Last Sunday, the army managed to destroy a car bomb before reaching a military checkpoint on Tal Mabeit road, east of Hasaka city.

Two people killed in terrorists’ rocket and mortar shells on al-Yarmouk Suburb in the southern city of Daraa.

Two civilians injured in Harasta

Meanwhile, two civilians got injured when terrorists fired six mortar shells in Harasta residential Suburb at the northern entrance of Damascus.

Terrorists fired six mortars, leaving a child and a man injured, who were admitted to hospital for medical treatment.

Many houses and cars got damaged due to the attack.

Harasta Suburb is frequently targeted by the terrorists of the so called “Jaish al- Islam” in Hrasta and Douma cities in the Eastern Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside.

Damascus

Terrorist organizations targeted the residential neighborhood of Qassa’ in Damascus with two mortar shells, causing material damage only in the place they landed in.

The two mortars landed near John of Damascus School in the neighborhood, adding that no casualties were reported but some cars parked in the area were damaged due to the attack.

On Tuesday, a civilian got injured in a terrorist attack with a mortar shell in the nearby al- Abbasyeen residential neighborhood.
