Six citizens injured in the explosion of an explosive device planted by terrorists in Daraa

Damascus, (ST)- Six citizens were injured in the explosion of an explosive device planted by a terrorist group on the road between the village of Alma and Khirbet Ghazala in the countryside of Daraa.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on its Telegram channel that six people were slightly injured in Daraa Governorate as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted by a terrorist group, while Daraa Governor Eng. Louay Kharitah, Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party Branch Hussein Al-Rifai and the Police Commander were returning from a tour in the city of Al-Harak.

The ministry indicated that several patrols headed to the location, where the injured were transferred to Daraa National Hospital to receive treatment.

A source in the Daraa Police Command informed SANA correspondent that the convoy of the governor, the Secretary of the party branch and the accompanying delegation were attacked with an explosive device by a terrorist group while the convoy was returning from a work tour in the eastern countryside of the governorate.
