Silver for Syria in Taekwondo Arab Cup Championship in UAE

Syrian national taekwondo player Fatima Qassem won a silver medal in the Arab Cup Championship currently being held in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

Qassem won the silver medal after fighting four strong rounds with players from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Tunisia.

1,300 male and female players from 22 Arab countries are participating in the tournament, which is the largest participation in Arab tournaments.
