SILA International Export Fair for Leather Industries kicks off today

 With the participation of about 100 Syrian, Arab and foreign companies,  SILA International Export Fair for shoes, leather products and production requirements, will be launched today in the FairGrounds in Damascus.

 

The Arab Federation of Leather Industries in cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Industry organized the 3- day Exhibition.

The Exhibition includes the latest models and designs of industrialists, craftsmen and producers of shoes, bags, leather jackets and other products.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Federation of Leather Industries and a member of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Muhammad Kazara, said that the Syrian leather industries have witnessed a remarkable development and has a good reputation in the Arab world.

He pointed to the return of the export of Syrian leather products to foreign markets due to their high competitiveness through their quality and competitive price.

 Kazara said that about 400 businessmen from brotherly countries Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya and Algeria were invited to conclude export deals for Syrian leather products to foreign markets.

About 100 Syrian companies, a company from Iran, two companies from Lebanon and a Chinese company with an agent from Syria participate in the Exhibition that extends over an area of 7000 meters.

 The Exhibition receives visitors daily from one in the afternoon until nine in the evening.
