On December 8th, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on the international community to provide protection for the Palestinian people and stop the ongoing Israeli occupation crimes against them.
Shtayyeh said that the occupation’s evasion of accountability as a result of double international standards encourages it to commit more crimes, the most recent of which was the crime at dawn today in the city of Jenin and its camp, which resulted in the death of three young men.
The Palestinian National Council condemned in a statement the silence of the international community and the double standards practiced by the United States and its continuous protection of the occupation entity from any accountability for its crimes.
The Council called on the International Criminal Court to launch an immediate investigation of these crimes.
