Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh called on the international community to take action to stop the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and to take practical steps to end the occupation.
Wafa Agency quoted Shtayyeh as saying in statements today: “What we want now is to stop the war, aggression, killing, and invasions in Gaza and the West Bank before it’s too late to avoid more blood, hunger, demolition and destruction. Stop the war now. This occupation must end, and the world and the United Nations are required to set a timetable that ends the occupation and the suffering of our people, and recognize the State of Palestine with Al Quds as its capital, and the right of return of the refugees”.
Shtayyeh indicated that the Palestinian people will continue their struggle to end the occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state with Al Quds as its capital.
