Shia Imami Ismaili Council Voices Support to Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST) –Shia Imami Ismaili Council of His Highness Prince Aga Khan ” for Syria” has  underscored  its unlimited support to the homeland, voicing rejection of foreign intervention and all conspiracies which aim at undermining security and sovereignty of Syria.

The council joins  the noble Syrian people in marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The council’s statement referred to the bombing which hit  al-Salamiyah city on January 21st and resulted in the martyrdom of around 30 citizens and the injury of 150 others, in addition to causing huge material damage .

The statement stressed “the Syrian people’s standing by the homeland and  such criminal acts will not undermine our determination”concluded the statement.
