Shell hit Barzeh quarter in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists launched Tuesday a mortar round on Barzeh quarter in Damascus, wounding a civilian, according to a police command source.

The source said that a mortar round-fired by terrorists- hit Barzeh quarter, wounding a civilian and causing damages to two houses and several cars at the scene.

Last Thursday, as many as 13 civilians were hurt as mortar rounds landed in al-Zablatani and al-Qassa’a areas in the same province [Damascus].

Pregnant woman martyred

In Damascus countryside, terrorists fired yesterday a missile on al-Qtefeh city, killing a pregnant woman and wounding her one-year old boy plus another civilian.  

The woman was admitted to the National al-Qtefeh  Hospital where the doctors saved the baby.

On August 18th, several houses were damaged in a mortar fire a week after a mother and two of her children plus a third child were wounded by a missile attack on the same city [Qtefeh].  

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel and Qatar support terrorist groups operating in Syria, according to world media reports.
