Sheikh Qassem: We cannot leave Beirut under Israeli enemy’s strikes, the enemy will pay the price

Beirut, (ST) – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem has highlighted the deterrence equation in place in the ongoing war. He stressed that the resistance cannot leave Beirut under the Israeli enemy’s strikes and the enemy must pay the price, and the price is the center of “Tel Aviv”.

Sheikh Qassem said in a speech today: “The enemy must understand that matters will not be left hanging when it attacks the capital Beirut,” Sheikh Qassem added.

Reiterating the Tel Aviv for Beirut equation, established previously by the former Secretary-General, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, he vowed, “We can never leave the capital under the strikes of the Israeli enemy, and it will surely pay the price from the center of Tel Aviv.”

The Israeli occupation had attacked 3 different busy neighborhoods in the heart of Beirut in the span of a few days, killing and injuring many. In response, Hezbollah launched an attack on the heart of Tel Aviv, striking a building, which caused extensive damage and resulted in casualties.

He also said: “Israel” cannot defeat us, as the final word is for the field and the results are based on what happens in it,” stressing that the resistance has the ability to fight a long war.
