Sheikh Aql of the Muslims Muwahhideen Community, Hussein Jarbou’ Passes Away

SWEIDA, (ST)- Ministry of Religious and Endowments Affairs and the Community of Muslims

al Muwahhideen yesterday announced the death of Sheikh Aql of the Muslims Muwahhideen Community in Syria, Hussein Jarbou’, who died at the age of 87 after suffering from disease.

In a statement to SANA, First Sheikh Aql of the Community, Hikmat al-Hejri, said that the citizens in Syria and Lebanon had lost a generous man who devoted his life to the public benefit.

 He also highlighted the national stances of late Sheikh Jarbou’, adding that the late was well- known for his calls for amity, peace, dialogue and adherence to national unity.

Sheikh Hussein Ahmad Jarbou’ was born in 1925 and had been the Sheikh Aql of the Muslim Muwahideen Community since 1965 after the death of his father.
