Sharjah celebrates the outstanding students of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus

Damascus (ST): On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the (Sharjah Theatrical Forum), the Theater Department at the Department of Culture in Sharjah celebrates within a festival held within the framework of the ninth session of the Kalba’a Festival for Short Plays, with a group of outstanding students from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in Syria.

During the celebration, which takes place between the 22nd and 27th of September, the theater administration will host the students who graduated first in Arab theater colleges and institutes.

The celebration will be held in the presence of the ten batches of the forum, which comes on the sidelines of the Sharjah Theatrical Days, in which those who represented Syria in the forum in its previous sessions, namely Lara Bakhsar, Lara Badri, Raymonda Nidal, Yasmine Al-Jabawi, Sally Yasser, Walaa Azzam, Loris Kazak, Ali Fadel and Mudar Ramadan, will participate.

The Dean of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, Tamer Al-Arbeed, stressed in a statement the importance of this honor within the Sharjah Forum, indicating that it is evidence of the Institute’s strong presence on the Arab scene, and that this meeting is the culmination of a group of previous forums in which the Institute participated during the Sharjah Theater Days.

He pointed out that the presence of this number of distinguished students at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts confirms the importance of this academic school and the product of the Institute of Dramatic Arts, which is the result of 45 years of creative accumulation.
