Sham FM celebrates its 15th  anniversary

Recently, Sham FM celebrated its fifteenth anniversary at the Opera House in Damascus under the title “For the sons of this land”.

Many journalists, artists and politicians attended the celebration, which started with songs sung by the ‘Tanagom Choir’  led by Ghada Harb.

The songs were for  great artists who enriched art and they  were a milestone in the artistic field.

Mr. Samer Youssef, the Director of Sham FM, announced the launch of Sham FM Plus Radio in the celebration.

He told SyriaTimes e-newspaper :” This project will be the nucleus to other projects, and it isn’t just a radio station, it will be a real project that addresses the young generation”.

He assert that the young generation today needs support and projects that attract the  and put them on the right path to invest their energies and talents and  to be effective in their society.

“Today this step will be the beginning of implementing the plans of this project and  we wil work on the ground, and I hope that the results will be as we wish,”

It is noteworthy that Radio Sham FM was launched in 2007 and  its broadcasts for 24 hours. It is considered one of the most famous and most widespread Syrian radio.

Sham FM presented through 15 yaers broadcast a variety of programs in the fields of art, politics and society.
