Prague (ST): Head of the Czechoslovakian Institute of International Relations Jaromir Shalabata stressed that the continued presence of US forces inside Syrian territory is terrorism and occupation of a sovereign state and a flagrant violation of all international laws.
Shalabata stressed, in a statement to news reporters in Prague today, the importance of the international community bearing its responsibilities to expel these forces immediately and respect Syria’s sovereignty, pointing out that the American, Turkish, Western and regional interventions in Syria’s affairs aim to impose agendas that serve the personal interests of those forces.
Shalabata noted that the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria are due to its principled stance rejecting external interference and agendas targeting its unity and sovereignty.
