Shaaban: The world no longer accepts a unipolar system controlled by the West

The Special Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic Bouthaina Shaaban has affirmed that the West is involved not only in the proxy war in Ukraine, but also in creating regional blocs.
Shaaban, during the 12th Middle Eastern Conference of the “Valdai” International Forum for Dialogue held in Moscow on Tuesday, said: “The world can no longer exist within the framework of a unipolar system controlled by the West.”
She added, “a new world order has emerged based on certain rules, but some countries do not know what these rules are, and how they can be adhered to. These rules are imposed by the United States and the West in general,” noting that many countries do not agree with these rules.
Shaaban explained that the West chooses and supports the elements that are loyal to it, and these elements are the ones that are tasked with implementing the dictates, and they use terrorists to change the existing world order and make countries follow their policies.
Dr. Shaaban stressed that the West’s colonial goals are still the same, saying: “The colonial West changed its way, but it did not change its colonial goals. The colonial West changed its ways through direct military intervention.”
She added: “After the war in Vietnam, several studies appeared to say that we no longer need to send armies to those countries”.
