Shaaban: President al-Assad’s Speech was Strategic, Syrian People Steadfastness Furnished for New era
DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Political and Media Advisor at the Syrian Presidency Dr. Butheina Shaaban stressed that the Syrian people’s steadfastness in the face of terrorist aggression, has furnished the foundations for a new stage in the life of Syria, the region and the world.
Shaaban said in an interview with the Syrian TV yesterday that the terrorist aggression on the Arab world aimed at the destruction of the culture, identity, history and Arab civilization, therefore work must be entitled in the next stage is to preserve Arab identity and civilization.
She pointed out that President Bashar al-Assad speech, after the constitutional oath was strategic in talking about local, Arab and international situations honestly and transparently aimed at the reconstruction and introducing a change of mind, manner and method.
Shaaban explained that President al-Assad speech diagnosed Arab reality accurately as a prelude to describe the treatment not only in Syria but in the whole Arab world, pointing out that maintaining transparency with the people, the country, the nation, the region and the world was the title of the speech.
Shaaban said that President Assad’s speech included a reference to the task of internal media in playing the role of the real investigator concerning what is taking place on the ground in order to be effective in the fight against corruption and in improving the state and administrative systems.
She pointed out that fight corruption can be achieved through strengthening the institutions and the development of a culture of citizenship, in addition to solidarity of the Syrian society and the dissemination of a peaceful morality among themselves.
“Dialogue and reconciliation are the two essential pillars of the springboard for the next phase and the numerous amnesty decrees issued by President Assad were an expression of the desire to have everyone under the umbrella of the country,” Shabaan stressed.
She explained that the road to reconciliation and dialogue is inevitable and necessary after every war and crisis, therefore internal dialogue must be encouraged on all issues and in all places, based on sincere mental dialogue that is a pillar of morality.
Shaaban stressed that the President ‘s inaugural speech was a speech of alternatives that needs visions, ideas and courage and to reconcile with oneself and others.
