Shaaban on Land Day: Syria Determined to Liberate All Its Territories from Terrorism

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Syria is determined to liberate all its territories from terrorism and expel the Turkish and American occupation from the country, Presidential Political and Media Advisor Bouthain Shaaban has stressed.

Answering questions by journalists following a cultural symposium held  by Al-Quds International Foundation-Syria branch- on Wednesday in Damascus marking the 42nd Anniversary of Land Day, Shaaban said terrorism and Zionism are two sides of the same coin and that all what terrorism has done in Syria is being done by the Zionists against the Palestinian people. She called for more unity and for drawing up more effective plans and strategies to confront this enemy.

In her speech at the symposium, Shaaban stressed the importance of forming a work base in every Arab country to defend Palestine and the Arab right.

She pointed out that Syria’s victory on regional and global terrorism is the beginning of a new history  as to restor usurped Arab rights.

Shaaban made it clear that a heroine like Ahed al-Tamimi, the 16 years old Palestinian activist, should be an inspiration for resistance projects in the region against western and Zionist schemes which seek changing the face of the region and stealing its resources.
