Special Advisor at the Syrian Presidency, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Al-Quds International Foundation- Syria, Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, has stressed that the Arabs won’t have a regional weight unless they unite.
“We can’t achieve a leading future and end all racist policies against us unless we behave and work as a unified people, Shaaban said.
In a press conference held on Saturday during the meeting of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Shaaban said “all Arab peoples belong to one nation and they have a common destiny. We have to join efforts and work as one bloc to serve the issues of the nation.”
She hailed the Palestinian people’s steadfastness that has foiled all the Israeli enemy’s schemes and attempts to control Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“The resolve of women and men in Palestine, particularly in Al-Quds, has proved that it is stronger than the enemy’s weapons,” Shaaban said, calling for learning a lesson from the steadfastness of Palestinians in the Israeli jails and in Al-Quds that this enemy can be defeated by patience, strong will and steadfastness.
On his part, Archbishop Atallah Hanna of Sebastia for Greek Orthodox said in an audio message from occupied Al-Quds that the conspiracy against the city of Al-Quds targets its sanctities, Muslims and Christians, and that the racist Zionist occupation aims at stealing the city from its original owners and at Judaizing it.
“Those, who are conspiring on Islamic and Christian sanctities, are the same parties who are working to displace the residents of Al-Quds and change the identity of its neighborhoods,” archbishop Hanna pointed out.
He hailed the role being played by Al-Quds International Foundation in defending Al-Quds city, its sanctities and its Palestinian Arab identity as well as all the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, mainly the right to return to their usurped homeland.
Director General of Al-Quds International Foundation Yaseen Hammoud reviewed the events taking place in Al-Quds, including the occupation’s continuous attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque, the displacement of the Palestinians from Al-Quds neighborhoods and the seizure of Palestinians’ houses.
He stressed that the Arab nation won’t get rid of the colonialists and occupiers except through unity, solidarity and joint confrontation of the Zionist schemes.
