Several militants affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia were injured in an attack on their headquarters in Abu Hammam town in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.

Local sources told SANA that an attack with an explosive device and machineguns was launched by people’s factions against the SDF’s headquarters near the water station in Abu Hammam town in Deir Ezzor.

The attack led to the injury of several SDF militants and to the destruction of the headquarters.

Attacks on the US-backed SDF militia positions and axes of movement in the areas it occupies in the Syrian Al-Jazira region have increased recently. Dozens of SDF militants have been killed and wounded over the past weeks.
