Several terrorist leaders killed in shoot-outs in Syria

 

PROVINCES,(ST)_Units of armed forces clashed on Saturday with terrorist groups in countryside of Damascus, Daraa, Idleb, Homs, Aleppo,Hama,Lattakia, and Reqqa provinces.

A lot of terrorists and their leaders were killed or injured in the clashes, according to SANA.

In this context, Fares news agency reported today: “Syrian army killed al-Qaeda- affiliated al-Nusra Front’s notorious ringleader in Aleppo countryside, Mahmoud Ahmad Maju, and over 25 of his armed men.”

As for clashes in Lattakia countryside, Al-Alam TV.reported that the Syrian army killed a number of non-Syrian terrorists. It added that fierce scuffles are being erupted in north-west Hama.

Meanwhile, the armed forces carried out qualitative operations in the said areas where terrorists’ weapons and ammunition caches, and machinegun-equippedcars were completely destroyed.

In a separate development, the terrorists fired a mortar on BasatinBarzeh area in Damascus causing martyrdom of two citizens.

“A child was also injured at the scene”, an official source told SANA.
