Several Parliamentary Committees hold talks with Brazil’s Ambassador in Damascus

DAMASCUS, May.12, (ST)-Several committees at the People’s Assembly [Parliament] met this morning with Brazil’s Ambassador in Damascus Fabio Vaz Pitaluga and the accompanying delegation. 
 
The talks between the committees and the ambassador dealt with the ways of enhancing parliamentary relations for the interests of the Syrian and Brazilian peoples, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). 
 
The agency quoted the Brazilian ambassador as saying that his meetings with the committees aims to exchange experiences and review the ways of boosting relations besides the recent developments in international and regional arenas.  
 
For his part, the head of the Legislative and Constitutional Committee at the Parliament Ahmad Kuzbari asserted the need to boost the bilateral relations between Syria and Brazil, indicating that Syria wants to have positive relations with all Countries. 
 
While the head of Expatriates and the Arab and Foreign Affairs Committee Butros Merjaneh clarified that the United States and its allies fuel the conflicts through cheating chaos and imposing sanctions on the peoples and governments that are against Washington’s policies.
 
The topic of looting the Syrian oil and wheat by the US and Turkish occupation forces was mentioned by the head of Power and Economic Affairs Committee Mohammad Raed, who affirmed that Syria is doing its utmost to ease the suffering of the people and to ensure their requirements.
