Several Palmyrene wells are restored

Palmyra (ST): The General Commission for the Administration, Development and Protection of the Syrian Badia (desert) has completed the renovation and rebuilding of some wells in  a number of areas liberated from terrorism in Homs desert with the aim of ensuring water for livestock breeders.

Director of the Commission’s branch in Homs Dr. Ammar Khaddour said that several Palmyrene wells, which were devastated by the armed terrorist groups, were renovated .

He added that the renovation process for other wells are underway, noting every well will be provided by an electric generation set and pumps to be put in service soon.
