Several members from engineering units were martyred and injured while dismantling mines of terrorists (Da’ash) in Deir Ezzour

On November 22ndseveral members were martyred and wounded from the engineering units in the Syrian Arab army while dismantling mines left by the terrorist organization  “Daash” in the district of Deir Ezzour .

While engineering units were dismantling explosive devices from their previous headquarters in the district of Qasor in the city of Deir Ezzour and as a result of friction,  an explosive device went off which led to the martyrdom of several members of the engineering team,” the Commander of Deir Ezzour Policemen Gen. Bilal Mahmoud said. 

 

The terrorist organizations prior to its defeat by the Syrian Arab army planted mines and explosive devices in the areas where they were spread in order to obstruct the progress of the army and  horrify the people and prevent them from returning to their homes.
