Seven Syrian teams in the final qualifiers for the IIOT World Information Olympiad organized by Italy

Syria participated in the qualifiers for the third level of the World Informatics Olympiad for Teams IIOT for 2022, organized by Italy “remotely”, to determine which  teams will qualify for the final competitions.

The Distinction and Creativity Agency stated to SANA  that seven teams from the Syrian schools participated in the tests today for a period of three continuous hours from Damascus.

These teams were from “Outstanding Schools” in Damascus, Homs, Aleppo and Lattakia.

The Syrian participation in this Olympiad began on the twenty-ninth of last January through an open local competition for school teams with informatics, the first level was held “remotely”.

The competition was between 82 teams who participated from their governorates, and 18 teams qualified for the second level, where their competitions were held in the same way and the seven teams succeeded to qualify for this stage.
