Seven Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger strike

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Seven Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger strike in protest against the continuous Israeli occupation crimes against the prisoners.

According to Wafa News Agency, the Authority of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday, that the prisoners are Kayed Al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 76 days, Miqdad Al Qawasmeh for 69 days, Alaa Al-Araj for 51 days, Hisham Abu Hawash for 43 days, Rayek Bisharat for 38 days, Shadi Abu Akr for 35 days and Hassan Shouka for nine days.

The Commission indicated that the prisoners face health conditions that are getting more dangerous day after day due to the shortage of salt and fluids, amid the deliberate health neglect in the occupation jails.

About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
