Israeli settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians call for staying steadfast in it

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Dozens of Israeli settlers on Tuesday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Wafa News Agency reported that the settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa from Al-Maghariba Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, especially in the Bab Al-Rahma area, under heavy security measures by the occupation forces.

The Palestinians are calling for staying in to Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to thwart the settlers’ Judaization plans. This call comes in the light of the settlers’ announcement of their intention to carry out large-scale incursions into the Old City of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Al-Aqsa Mosque Wednesday evening and next Thursday.

The President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh described the settlers’ announcement as a provocative and terrorist behavior. He warned that the occupation’s continuation of its crimes and plans to Judaize Al-Quds and attack Islamic and Christian sanctities threaten with detonating the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the region.

Fattouh stressed that the Palestinian people will protect Al-Quds and will not allow the occupation to implement its plans against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
