Settlers seize swaths of land west of Salfit

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Israeli settlers seized swathes of land in the town of Deir Istiya, west of Salfit in the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency stated that settlers stormed into the Khirbet Shehadeh area in the town, and seized swathes of land to establish a new settlement outpost linking the settlements established on the lands of the towns of Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan to each other. They also closed the roads connecting the agricultural lands of the two towns.

The governor of Salfit, Abdullah Kamil indicated that the occupation is trying to seize the largest possible area of Palestinian lands in Salfit. He called on the international community to take urgent action at all levels in order to stop settlement operations.
