Israeli settlers attack Palestinian towns in West Bank

On  the evening of April  29, Israeli settlers, with the protection of the occupation forces, stormed Palestinian lands south of Hebron, in the West Bank, and destroyed agricultural crops there.

Wafa news agency quoted the coordinator of the Popular Committees to Resist the Wall and Settlements south of Hebron, Ratib al-Jubour, as saying that settlers stormed agricultural lands in the al-Zuwaidin and al-Shumra area in MasaferYatta, and destroyed the wheat and barley crops there.

Earlier today, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the towns of Silwad, east of Ramallah, and Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, and assaulted the Palestinians with bullets and poison gas canisters.

On the other hand, a number of Palestinians were injured and others were arrested today, when the Israeli occupation forces stormed areas in the West Bank.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, and fired poison gas bombs at the boys’ school, which led to suffocation of a number of students.

They also stormed the towns of Husan and Beit Sahour, east of the city, and arrested three Palestinians.

The occupation forces stormed the towns and villages of Al-Fandqumiyah, Sanur, Mithlon, Jdeideh, Kfir Al-Zababdeh, Masliyeh, Al-Jarba, Jalbun and Faqqu’a in Jenin, and raided a number of Palestinian homes.

For 23 days, the occupation authorities have continued to blockade the northern Jordan Valley, closing most of the roads leading to Palestinian agricultural lands, and tightening their military measures at Hamra and Tayaseer checkpoints, and impeding the movement of Palestinians.
