Settlements launched in the towns of Eastern Ghouta

On October 24th, the city of Douma in Damascus countryside witnessed a public celebration, marking the start of the settlement process in the city and a number of towns and villages in Eastern Ghouta

The settlements process includes all wanted persons, those who have failed the military services from the people of DoumaAdra al-Balad, al-NashabiyehIrbeenKafr BatnaSaqba, Ain Tarma and Zamalka, marking their return to their normal life in society and among their comrades in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army. 

In a speech during the celebration, the Director of Endowments in Rural Damascus, Sheikh Dr. Khader Shahrour, said: “The assembled residents of Eastern Ghouta pledged to the leader of the country to remain behind his leadership, and to be the loyal soldiers who defend the homeland.” 

Sheikh Dr. Bashar al-Wazir, in a speech on behalf of the people of the city of Douma, pointed out that Decree No. 7 on the general amnesty is the largest and most comprehensive amnesty. 

Sheikh Al-Wazir said that these large crowds of the people of Ghouta depict loyalty to the homeland and its leader.

For his part, Sheikh Bassam Dafda, in a speech to the people of the Eastern Ghouta region, pointed out that the continuous settlements throughout the country contribute to reunification and facilitate life matters for citizens

The Secretary of the Damascus Countryside Branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party Radwan Mustafa noted that the people promise the leader of the homeland from the city square of Douma that they will be the loyal soldiers behind his victorious leadership
