Settlement of status of wanted persons continues in Douma and a number of eastern Ghouta towns

Countryside (ST) – The settlement process began on Tuesday in a number of towns in Eastern Ghouta and Adra Al-Balad in and around Douma in Damascus countryside, within the framework of the settlement agreements proposed by the state.

Yesterday, the city of Douma in Damascus countryside witnessed a public celebration, marking the start of the settlement process in the city and a number of towns and villages in Eastern Ghouta.

The settlements process includes all wanted persons and deserters from military service from the people of Douma, Adra al-Balad, al-Nashabiyeh, Irbeen, Kafr Batna, Saqba, Ain Tarma and Zamalka, marking their return to their normal life in society and among their comrades in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army.

From the settlement center in the municipality of Douma, a number of those who came to settle their situation expressed to SANA reporter their satisfaction with the launching of the settlement operations in their areas to improve their conditions and return to their normal life. Where, after settling his situation, Fayez Abdul Basit indicated the importance and effectiveness of this procedure, saying that today he began a new life with will and determination to transcend the past period, and engage in building what was destroyed by terrorism.

For his part, Mahmoud Ramadan expressed his gratitude tobe given the opportunity from the government to settle his statues along with the wanted people of the region.
