Settlement of status of gunmen and wanted persons has begun in Jassim city in Daraa countryside

In the city of Jassim in the northern countryside of Daraa, the process of settling the status of dozens of militants, wanted persons and deserters from military service, and handing over weapons to the Syrian Arab Army, began today.

SANA reporter stated that with the opening of the settlement center in Jassim city, gunmen, wanted persons and deserters from military service flocked to the center to settle their status and hand over the weapons that some of them had to the army, in implementation of the agreement proposed by the state, marking the restoration of security and stability to those villages and towns, and the start of service institutions with repair and restoration of facilities service in it.

During the past month, Daraa Governorate witnessed similar status settlement operations, which included the Daraa Al-Balad neighborhood in the city, villages, towns and cities of Nawa, Al-Yadudah, Muzayrib, Tafas, Tel Shehab, and the villages and towns of the Yarmouk Basin in the northwestern and northern countryside. These areas witnessed the deployment of the army units to ensure security and stability in it.
