Separate attacks cause death of a number of SDF militants in Raqqa

Raqqa, (ST) – A number of SDF-backed militiamen were killed and wounded in separate attacks that targeted their military points in Raqqa and its countryside.

Local sources told SANA that unidentified persons carried out several attacks with an explosive device and machine guns on two military vehicles. They also targeted a site for militants from the (SDF) militia west of Raqqa city. The attacks were carried out near the Hattin farm junction northwest of the city and in the vicinity of Raqqa Al-Samra village in the eastern countryside.

The sources indicated that the attacks resulted in the death of a number of militiamen, the wounding of others, and the destruction of the two cars, as well as causing significant material damage to the military point.

Yesterday, an explosive device planted on the road between the city of Raqqa and the town of Ain Issawent off, killing a leader of the separatist (SDF) militia. Another explosive device exploded in a military vehicle of the militia on the road to the town of Kasrat, south of the center of Raqqa, injuring those inside, in addition to damaging the vehicle.
