Security operation to eliminate remaining ISIS terrorists in Tareeq Al-Sad neighborhood in Daraa resumed

The security operation to eliminate the remaining ISIS terrorists in Tareeq Al-Sad neighborhood in the Syrian city of Daraa was resumed on Saturday after it was stopped to secure the evacuation of civilians from the operation’s area, a security source has announced.

The source told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the operation against the remaining ISIS cells was resumed with the participation of security bodies and local backup forces after it was stopped for two days to evacuate the civilians whom ISIS terrorists tried to use as human shields.

The source pointed out that the operation has witnessed wide progress towards ISIS cells, noting that several key sites have become under control as the process of chasing up the terrorists continues.

On October 31st, the security bodies in cooperation with local backup groups, during a security operation in Tareeq Al-Sad neighborhood, south of Daraa, eliminated a number of ISIS terrorists and seized a huge amount of ammunition.
