Second phase of producing 10 MW solar panels out of 60 kicks off within a project in Hassia Industrial City

Homs, (ST) -The second phase of producing 10 megawatt-hour solar panels kicked off yesterday on the land of the industrial city in Hassia within the project being implemented by Al-Anwar Solar Electricity Company to produce up to 60 megawatt-hours solar panels that will be successively connected to the national electrical grid.

It is launched with exceptional efforts and on time on the anniversary of Martyrs’ Day.

The Minister of Electricity, Eng. Ghassan Al-Zamil clarified in a statement to reporters after the launch of the second phase that the production of up to 90 megawatts from renewable energy projects is an important factor in supporting the national economy and contributing to achieving growth, providing electricity, and increasing the hours of electrical supply to citizens. He noted the implementing company’s commitment to the deadlines for completing the stages of energy production and launching it accurately, with distinguished national hands and expertise

Minister Al-Zamil pointed out that the Ministry gives priority to companies that have implemented renewable energy projects, and all companies are evaluated with a focus on the projects they direct and implemented with quality and precision, and provide all facilities to them.

The General Manager of the company implementing the Al-Anwar solar energy projects in the industrial city of Hassia, Dr. Wael Mansour affirmed that the launch of the second phase of the project is a token of loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and their blood that created victory.

He indicated that the company has implemented many important projects in Adra in the Damascus countryside and Baniyas.

It is noteworthy that the company implementing Al-Anwar solar energy projects launched the first phase of producing 10 megawatts out of 60 megawatt-hours on the Evacuation Day, the 17th of last April, on the land of the Hassia industrial city in Homs.
